Local as local get Tapfuma is part of the One Room family that grew up in Dagenham, like so many local’s it’s almost hard to see them outside of being your neighbour but the minute you hear Tapfuma sing, you neigbour transforms into a soulful star that is reminiscent of voices of the past with feeling and sincerity. Having performed at 1 One room show so far the work with Fuma has just begun.
