On the 6th of September history was made...
As lockdown eased and event spaces began to open, One Room took on the exciting challenge of organising a unique digital festival with 13 other grass root collectives and artist. The New East was a streamed online festival that brought artist from around the globe to the sexiest place on earth. This festival is only the beginning.
From music, art and fashion the festival was designed with over 13 diffrent grass roots organisations and acts. Even though the lockdown context didn't allow for all their talents to be displayed the energy created painted the picture of what is possible for the future.
On Day 2 New Wave Magazine brought us a stylist competition powered by Steelo. The looks were exciting and vibrant and showed off some of the rising styling talents here in London. New Wave is always pushing the boundaries of their concepts so this was a big moment.
